We ‘ran’ a successful first annual Miles for Smiles 5k event this past weekend in Fort Washington State Park. This event is one of our many fund raisers for the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry Haiti Club. We are an outreach group that travels to Haiti once a year to provide dental services to needy Haitians. Each year we are able to help over 1,000 people receive dental care. We would like to sincerely thank each one of you who either donated to or ran in our charity event. Our trips would not be possible without you. Without further ado, here is a link to the final race times of the Miles for Smiles 5K. Our participants included some serious runners and some serious walkers, the true winners are the ones that recieve our care in Haiti! Congratulations!

Thanks for organizing a great 5K in Fort Washington State Park. It was a good challenge with the mix of road and cross country. Let’s try to publicize even more next year via local running clubs and local papers to increase the turn out. Congratulations on a very successful first!

We had a blast at the 5k. It was a beautiful day, maybe a little hot, but we could not have asked for more. Thanks again for all those that participated in this amazing cause. Great site Ben! It really looks good
