The republic of Haiti is estimated to be the single most impoverished country in the Western Hemisphere where dental care is unavailable to most of the population. Once a year dental students and faculty from Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry Haiti Club participate in a week long trip to Haiti to perform emergency dental care. The outreach team members travel to many rural villages and work without breaks from sun-up to sun-down and administer to over 1,000 Haitians.

As you can imagine, these trips are not possible without the significant financial support from contributors. Each trip costs around $20,000 and covers the following costs:

Air travel, lodging, food, student vaccines, instruments, anesthesia, medications, and many other supplies.

The Temple Haiti Club is a non-profit organization and any donation can be applied to your federal tax return as a charitable donation. A tax I.D. (TIN) will be provided after your donation.
